STUBBORN HEART

STUBBORN HEART

A Poem by Digvijay Singh

If waves can come and go without tiring
If moon can be there till there is night
If clouds can remember their path so well
I can too, knock on your door forever
I can, carry this love without ever altering
Like a butterfly i wander, here and there,
to pick out your favorite colors for you.
My heart is stubborn and i have stapled
your pictures all over its empty walls

When fate interrupts your path, it could mean many things... They aren't "the one", or not at the right time, or it isn't meant to be. But fate is fickle and sometimes circles back unexpectedly. We can do nothing but accept its journey and hope it won't always feel like this.
We endure, mostly.
Those hearts are more stubborn than we think.
