ABOUT TODAY

A Poem by Digvijay Singh

We walked miles today
Miles. Four maybe.
Under the shadows of
tall Indian Rosewood
Where sun peeped on us to
outline the golden of her brown hair.
Walked by the wide aeolian gray lake
And so did our reflection, upside down.
With a thought of morrowless world
We traipsed all day
As sun dived to unite with the horizon far
we ambled hand in hand
Also in our stretched umbra behind
...
We walked miles today
Four. Or maybe more.
I forgot to count

Time truly loses all consequence when we are in the company of one we love. Lovely piece, Digvijay!
