MY BEST KISS?

MY BEST KISS?

A Poem by Digvijay Singh

Oh no!
I won't talk of the rain here
Nor of the kiss after that fancy dinner
Or of the one after our fight
It was just another thursday evening
We were outside of the metro junction
"I need to tell you something" she said
"What? Everything ok?"
We stood wordlessly in quarrelsome world around
And she kissed
standing on her toes.
...
Of million kisses we have had,
why this is my best i would never know.

I love your msg -- it's not a kiss in a fancy situation, but ordinary kisses that are most memorable. The everyday affection sustains people more than those once-a-month date nights or once-a-year vacations. Your "standing on toes" line is the THING that makes this ordinary kiss memorable & it goes well with artwork. I would use a different word, not "fancy" . . . too general for me. I like choosing more detailed words with imagery. Was it a succulent sushi dinner? Was it curry dinner at a curious diner? Don't forget to play with words as you develop your interesting messages! (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

This is beautiful, I saw imagery as if it were a film. It sounds as if you were taken by surprise, perhaps that’s why it was more memorable than most.
