WALK TOGETHER

WALK TOGETHER

A Poem by Digvijay Singh

The colossal of this world is all yours.
Also mine.
To love and to be loved by one or few.
To live and recite cheerful tales in our seventies.
...
Why do you urge to wander this road with me,
Knowing it ends on a sudden clif?
Knowing the heartache never heal truly?

This is an honest bit of pondering & questioning . . . in a round-about way, this shows us what the narrator finds important in life, even tho these questions are not answered here. There are two words not used correctly (sound awkward) . . . "colossal" might be better as "enormity" or "vastness" . . . "urge" might be better as "yearn" or "long" . . . otherwise good strong writing (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie
