Demon ChildrenA Poem by DiewithmeMetaphor for the Nine evils
There were nine who walked the earth in that day, and the blood of demons ran through their veins.
When they came of age, their power was unleashed upon any who drew too near. The eldest daughter was manipulative, turning brother against brother, lover against lover. The second in age was a temptress, driving men mad with desire, crushing them with refusal. The third was a son, a dealer of pain, hurtful and destructive, ceaselessly cruel and uncaring. The rest were not yet grown, yet still wise beyond their years, and strong beyond their size. Each an embodiment of the darkness in mankind. © 2016 DiewithmeAuthor's Note
