Poison of Insanity

Poison of Insanity

A Poem by Galagarian Humor
"

This is a factitious poem.

"
Many in the world may think they are they mightiest of men,
But there is a creature that would make one think that again.

Poison of insanity now rotting my brain;
Chaos now reigns, my sanity slain.
It's power and size is a living perdition,
A glance at its face will end any mission.

It's tail is swift with very lethal spikes,
Bringing forth destruction every time it strikes.
It's tail sways and brings death everywhere,
For those who witness, hope you say a prayer.

The monster's legs are like a sharpened spear,
It's legs crush anything to provoke much fear.
It becomes more intimidating as it approaches,
Most end up like everything else it poaches.

Swords and spears can kill a man,
But those things this monster can withstand.
It seems impossible to slay this beast,
With impenetrable scales, it continues to feast.

Fighting this beast is like a taboo,
This is a task that no one should pursue.
Save yourself now and keep far from the sand,
It radiates power that no man can withstand.

I liked the way your thoughts merged together...they complimented each other well. It stayed on a factual pace and I could hear the voice speaking as though they were giving a reading of cautionary signs and signals. (that might not be the best way to state that voice I hear...but hope it made sense) Thank you for the RR :)

"Fighting this beast is like a taboo,
This is a task that no one should pursue."
I like the flow of words and thoughts in this poem. The poem felt like a warning to stay away. I like the complete poem. A strong ending to a excellent poem.

Interesting. Sounds like a monstrous demon. But perhaps you mean something more symbolic.
"Its" is not possessive. "It's is a contraction of "it is".
