A Consuming Reflection

A Consuming Reflection

A Poem by Diella Notsu Eret

Fragile thing standing solitary
Scarlet waves crash to the violent shores
A mind is a war
It Swallows you whole
Merciless tyrant
breathing poison into hurting lunges
breathe it out and see the lace form patterns on your flesh
Look into the mirror
a reflection of the past is rippling
a reflection of a stranger
