The Fading Road

 

Walking down this road

to meet a friend at roads end

yet being alone the rest of the way.

To unfold forgotten memories of the past.

To remake forgotten promises from your memories.

But to walk this road alone

for your whole life… 

 

 

To remember these friends in the oddest of times.

When you lose all hope to carry on.

 

 

 

 

You remember the fights and

 

The good times you had. Then you fade back

to reality…
