I'll let you be my baby

I'll let you be my baby

A Poem by D. L. Vaccaro
"

September 2006

"
I woke up on the queen's highway,
Head up in the sky.
Looked around, all I found,
Was 'lost chances' that passed by.
I grabbed a-hold of one,
Found regret to be redefined.

Ringing bell-towers light the morning,
Waking up with you.
Mis-led maidens, hide in havens,
to avoid feeling this blue.
Knowing that our time,
Our time is far to few.

Let me feel your eyes,
Let me know your dreams,
Let me hear your love,
and I'll let you be my baby...

Glimmering sea of fighting sailors,
In your eyes tonight.
Feel your heartbeat, hear you breathe hard,
No need to talk, it's all alright,
Looking at you, in your eyes,
My reflection I see in your light
