Eternal HeartA Poem by D. L. Vaccaro
You alone possess my eternal heart,
It always stops whenever we're apart, Pulsating to its steady cosmic beat, It misses even your tiny little feet. Your eyes so green they make me dream, My soul burns hotter than burning steam, Your smile so pure it takes me away. It wishes it could be with you today. One soul split into two lost beings, Two beings merged into one feeling. One emmotion, ordained from above. Two spirits brought together by love. Naked as infants in a world full of sin, With you I am the happiest I ever have been. © 2012 D. L. Vaccaro |
