Enflamed... Emaculate...A Poem by D. L. VaccaroNovember 8th, 2006
Timeless helpers come and share, the feast for the union of the perfect pair.
The high duke of the lake was brought to the lonely lady by fate, The lovely lady was soon captured and the daring duke was enraptured. Holy mountains were chiselled away, awaiting the couples overnight stay. Horse drawn carriages gallop uphill, while all of nature stopped and stood still. Bonfires thirty feet tall light up the night, the moon even leant us his bright white light. The air grew thinner the higher and higher, the smoke grew thicker from the fearsome fire. Harder to breath as the passion enraged, harder to stop when the brakes engage. Into the flames the couple entered the heat, their souls melted together like dried concrete. © 2012 D. L. Vaccaro |
