In Somnia

In Somnia

A Poem by Dianah
"

I hate not being able to sleep esp on cold winter nights (I wrote this last January)

"

IN SOMNIA

Tonight my cup is half empty
Waiting to be fool again
Searching for new signs
Mercury,take up this pen
And communicate with me
Imagination, wild as a w***e
Flirting with scenarios
leaving me restless once more
Until the storms are over
I will try to get to sleep
But my peace is trampled on
By an incessant flow of sheep.
Zombie workmen in my head
Drilling holes in my peace
As demons fire up my neurons
When will the fighting cease?
I try to take deep breathes
calm down my hot wired mind
Riding on emotional waves
Until the sun rises I find...

I am exhausted.

Dianah
Not writing much new stuff at the mo so I'm dredging up older pieces. This is probably the last of these dark writes for this now (but who knows!)

About
I write , mainly poetry, about anything and everything. I have written song lyrics and seem to be addicted to rhyming. I hate writing blurbs for blogs as I never know what to say... I often confuse.. more..
