I cannot think of happiness
As demons feed on my fears
I cannot hear your words of love
As they scream in my ears.
I cannot feel your tender touch
With them nibbling on my skin.
I cannot think of purity
As they wallow in my sin
I cannot see your beauty
while demons pierce my eyes
I cannot feed off truth
they fill me up with lies.
I can still fight these damned demons
as a bright new day is born
I watch my demons fade away
I shed the skin they've torn.
Oh this was so nice as we all face these times..when like everything looks different
We lose faith ,we see it all black, its like a looming death is on doors..
I cant see happiness, I am fed only with fears, cant hear your love words
s they scream in my ears..or feel your touch nibbles on my skin
Dont feel pure as I wallow in my sins, cant see your beauty
cant see any truth..I am filled with lies, but I can still fight and wait
tomorrow surely will come another day is born
and they all fade as I shed into another skin
That was so lovely ,how it flowed real nice, how I enjoyed it all
lovely write..
Yep, those demons can be pesky. And it's true, they are incapacitating. With them nibbling on you they have your full attention. There isn't room for anything else, even if this something else could drive those demons away.

I write , mainly poetry, about anything and everything. I have written song lyrics and seem to be addicted to rhyming. I hate writing blurbs for blogs as I never know what to say...
I often confuse.. more..
