Western sunset/ New sun rising

Western sunset/ New sun rising

A Poem by Dianah
"

The rise and fall of western capitalism...

"

Western Sunset

Slow poisoned lungs

Split venomous tongues

As the tree of life withers.

When parasites invade

The old soldiers parade

Into blinded eyes they slither.

New paths they find

In Nimbotic minds

Storms brood on the horizon.

New Sun Rising.

Dawn's tired of breaking

Her heart lies quaking

While the eastern sun is rising.

Contemplation waits

For her fickle friend fate

To buy new gifts she brings.

As the western sun sets

Ageing Time forgets

The era we were kings.
