HE RIDES THE WAVES OF CHAOS

The need for detachment in relationships

HE RIDES THE WAVES OF CHAOS

He rides the waves of chaos.

She sits on the shore

too scared to be pulled under

It’s dragged her down before.

He dances with his arms held high

above a crowded room

smiles at Eris as she walks by

sparkling in the gloom.

She watches as the air

passes through her hands.

She can't confine his love

with a list of her demands.

She must learn to share him

with the muses he will seek

and not drown in her emotions

at the end of the week.

Learn to ebb and flow

like the moon up above,

when to stay or go

to rise or fall in love.
