Mother Nature's getting high

On cheap prescription drugs

Smoking out her garden weeds

Chemically killing slugs.

 

Lungs fossilized in fuel

From the day he was born

His nicotine coated smile

Well stained and well worn.

 

Bleached babies bounce,

In Sanitized playpens

Inject more newborn animals

Mammarys molded on new men.

 

The milk of human kindness

Spills on derelict shores

Happiness is a one night stand

Always wanting more.
