The Reset

The Reset

A Poem by Diamonheart

You’ll have a house,

But no place to call home.

You’ll be able to speak to the world,

But won’t be able to say anything.

You’ll live by your labor,

But own nothing.

You’ll live in harmony with diversity,

But acknowledge the uberights of minorities.

You’ll learn to love and respect nature,

And value animals more than humans.

You’ll honor women and family,

But won’t know what either one is.

You’ll fight for your country,

But not for your people.

You’ll hear race slander and abuse,

But have to shut up if it’s done by a black.

You’ll be entertained,

But won’t find it amusing.

You’ll live in an area,

But won’t call it a country.

You’ll live thinking of the great past,

But be hated for thinking too much.
