Before I Die

Before I Die

A Poem by Diamond Jay

Before I Die,
Take my heart with you.
As I resurrect I don't want to know pain.
Loves counter part,
Was Mixed in between our sheets
took parts of me as you fed
My soul what was presented to be...
True.

Falsified emotions,
A walking corpse that fed on happiness
which was later replaced to hate and bitterness.

Before I Die,
Take my innocence.
Take what makes me naïve.
And Leave me where I was.
Before you drained me.
Before I was so willing to give every piece of me.
Before you branded me.... With your name.

Because
As I was Walking through life seeing someone that you knew.
It Stopped my trance of deliverance and back to reality, back to you.
Asking about you,
And why things went left
And there I was left speechless.

Before I die,
Read this.
And finally realize
All you were trying to avoid,
& All you accused me to be
Was all a mirrored reflection.

Before I die,
Feel this.
Empty feeling I left in your presence.
All you pushed away was tainted in time,
As time goes by I hope you regret this.

And It'll be too late.
Because by that time
my soul will be finding a new home,
in another host,
Reviving in a life you wish you were in.
While I'm Resting in Pieces.

How sad that was! Really emotional and heart touchy.
I was impressed by your title but now I am more impressed by your writing.

Happy new year &
Keep writing :)
