WHAT IS THE COMMON BOND?

WHAT IS THE COMMON BOND?

A Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson

What happened to our bond, the bond

so many talk about, between a father

and his only daughter?

What common bond  do you  have with my molester, that allows you to deny me and my

children?

I ask myself this question daily...He is only your

wife's sister's husband.

What is the common bond? Please tell me!

Why do you protect him? Why do you put so much energy in stopping me from telling the truth?

When you know the truth, will protect your innocent grandchildren, from him.

Your bond with him is obviously much greater then the love and protection of your daughter and grandchildren?

Have you thought about how this makes you look to society?

Now, others are starting to ask the same question...What is the common bond you have with a child molester?

One that you prefer to protect instead of your daughter and grandchildren?

How can a father bond with his only daughter's molester? Please tell me!

This wonderfully flowing poem just wants to make me curse. HOW SICK! How I wish this was not based on a true story, but the passion behind it, tells me it is. I am not sure which is worse. Being abused by your father like I was or having your father protect your molester. In your case you were deceived by two worthless men. At least I can say I had support and was only deceived by one male in my life. Prayers!

Honestly, I do not even know what to say to that!
As for the poem itself, I have nothing to comment about. I think
it flows nicely and definately makes a statement.
As for it's meaning; "I STILL DON'T KNOW" what to say to that!
My only thought is that, that someone has a hold on him, somehow.

Oh honey :( This must be so very painful for you...It is so sad and horrible when someone's been abused but to not get support from your own family must be even more heart breaking. You have articulated the feeling very, very well :)
