DON'T TOUCH ME

DON'T TOUCH ME

A Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson

Don’t Touch Me

Don't Touch me!
My body is for only me!
Don't Touch me!
My body is not FREE!

You are an adult.
Don't Leave your Mark!
I am an innocent child
Don't you know, it is not Allowed!

What feels good to you,
takes away my life.
For it is not only sexual,
but mental abuse too.

You should feel the pain...
felt by not only I,
My children, my husband
have all been denied.

I still hear you breathing
I still see your face
Thank God laws are changing
and you'll soon be in your place!

You think you got away with this terrible crime
But not only you will be paying the fine.
Those who protect you
 Have committed a crime too!

It's all about taking you to the moment! This is what makes poets poets! I guess you can see from the other reviews this you have succeed. The voice of the inner child can make some very nervus don't you agree?

As for the comment from the pervert below "poetic merits of this "poem" is non-existent." He only wishes the voices of the inner child were non-existent. He was obviously threatened to make such an attack.

You know you're hitting a sore spot when react this way! GREAT WRITE!!!!

What a horse behind that jerk is that made the first view. Sounds like you did exactly what good poets do... You took him RIGHT THERE to that moment. Then I read his work. OH MY!!!! I think he was hearing a tiny little innocent voice sayin "DON'T TOUCH ME" Why else would a writer attack someone on writerscafe like that.

Don't know is you realized it or not but you can report the review. I just did.

You know your poetry always has and always will inspire victims of abuse. Keep Writing and Inspiring!

I like this piece, i think it has a lot of power in your words. I think that it is a poem unlike the one before me said... Poetry is what it is to the writer. I know that i only write for myself no one else, I share but it's ultimately for me. This is a powerful piece and I liked the flow in it. Great Job!
