THIS IS WHO I AMA Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase HopsonThis is who I am. It is true, you where there to help me begin.
With no choice as a child, the game had to be played, by only your rules. Which ment, the secrets kept for years and your goals always met.
But this is who I am and your influence I have brought to an end.
I am better than that! I don't care if the whole world hears about my past.
This is who I am! You can't blame me if revealing my past disturbs those I once called family.
I am only sorry you can't be as proud of who I am. Because it just helps others to understand my past, when they see how you cruely react.
This is who I am! I am proud of who I am, and what my past has made of me!
