EXHAUSTED

EXHAUSTED

A Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson

You must be exhausted.
There is no way you sleep at night.
It’s obvious you have lost his light.

Sunday mornings you share what is right,
But knowing you practice nothing right!

Do you listen to what you say?
Do you understand the price you’ll pay?

For those who are nothing,
Who think they are something.

Need to find their direction
And stop pretending their perfection.

Author's Note

DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson
Inspired by those that commit the terrible sin of sexual abuse and for those that protect those that commit sexual abuse, but stand and take the oath of faith and pretend sexual abuse is OK.
