My Morning Prayer

My Morning Prayer

A Poem by DiamondNRough AKA Patty Rase Hopson
"

My Morning Prayer

"

Thank You for being so good to me,

For loving me and protecting me.

Thank You for the care you send and

Even the struggles and pains I live with.

Without these experiences I know,

I would never grow.  Grow into the

Christian others now know.

Thank You for leading me

Leading me and helping me to conquer

What most would call war and tragedy.

Thank you for opening the heavy doors,

The doors that expose evil and others

Want to ignore.

Thank you for bringing Christian family

Nearer to me, to help support me, and

Remind me, though the pains you are only using me.

Thank You for using me as a tool, giving me courage and faith

That allows me to protect your innocent and expose others evil doings.

Most importantly, Thank You

For being so good, sacrificing your only son

And promising me eternity.

You're Too Good!

Let your will be done!

In your Loving Son's Name

Amen
