THIS IS JUST HOW I FEEL

You sit here and tell me that you love me
You sit here and say you care
You sit here and tell me you accept me
But you know that all this is a lie

You treated me like i was a disease
A diseases that you can't get rid of
You feel i have disgraced you
Disgraced you with the breath that i take

I looked to you for comfort
Comfort from the outside world
But to think that the outside world was also on the inside
You made me feel like a mistake

A mistake you wish you could rectify
You told me you couldn't love a monster
A Monster that just doesn't like guys
I am a lesbian

Not a dyke or a f*g.
But a F****N LESBIAN
You made me feel like i had to hide
Hide the real me inside

I felt lost
I felt unwhole
I felt like i couldn't be the real me
Till one day i seen the light

I seen that living for you and everyone else
Wasn't who i was meant to be
I am the only me
But i'm no  longer in hiding

I am free to be who i was meant to be
I am free to love a woman
I am free to never feel disrespected

I am for ever more free to be DIAMOND
