I DON'T CARE

I DON'T CARE

A Poem by Diamond _writes

I DON'T CARE

I don't care Of the love from places of forced envy
Hatred recessed in large grins
Naggings and mutterings encased under blushed cheeks

I don't care
Of the big hugs intended to engulf me into the abyss of darkness
Dark thoughts hidden beneath the strands of lush hair
The pecks meant to sap me dry
And gifts meant to send me on a ride to Hades

I don't care Of falsehood disguised in truth
Handshakes welded from sharp blades Homage paid to make hell my home
And garrison lurking behind the facades of companionship

I don't care If they're embedded in derisive smiles
Enclosed in words
Implanted in the lyrics of songs
Or in artistic tapestry I really don't pay attention to them
