The WeekendA Poem by The Xi of NothingA weekend visit with you, Who would have thought we would break? You pull me into bed with you encasing yourself in my arms, Home once more together as we fall into sleep.
Uncertainty reigns the next day, Are we who we where again before or confused still? The proof against is found obvious, My mind is filled with you with him.
I leave your lair more lost than before, Rest evades me as all I see is what I have seen, Only my imagination makes it worse, as I unwillingly bear silent witness, To your failure and discover your pleasure in it.
As I lay here sick and twisted, Seeing the nightmare as clear as before, I call out to you knowing that, Only you can stop the pain.
Crowned in cuckoldry, I have been devoured in black emotion, That which you can stop you caused, That which I want to love I want to but can't hate.
I want to forgive and try to forgive but need help, What would the real you do? Break yourself little to help an old friend, Or leave me for dead once again?
