For who I am

For who I am

A Poem by D.

Here we sit, Here we lay
Inspecting this life, a world of unknown
All that there is too offer, all that you offer me
Love, life, eternity
Our flaws are known
My claws I've shown
In your arm, I am at home
together, intertwined
No longer in the crossing
I shall not step away
Take me to your paradise
my love, my dear
Take for who I am

Your heart forever shining
Your touch forever loving
So here we sit, what do you have to say
I give you my eternity
Oh, take me to your paradise
My love, my dear
I except you for who you are

I will not lie
Complicated is my game
My flaws you have felted
My mind may wonder
but fear not I shall never stray
So take me to your paradise
My love, my dear
Take me for who I am
Broken and never shall I repair

That's a beautiful poem. I like how you based it on having people like you for who you are. Sometimes in life you just have to say, "Take me for who I am, or watch me as I go." Great job, thanks for sharing this poem, :)
