Past

A Poem by D.
"

Something I wrote a long time ago.

"
There was a time when you took my breath away. A time when I thought you were everything.
Now, All you bring me is pain.
One word after another. Insult after insult.
Tensions have gotten higher and our love has turned to hate. Dirty looks and horrible names. So much has changed.
I once loved you, this I can barely take. Nothing could ever be as it once was theres just too much at stake.
I wonder why, I wonder how something that was once so special can turn to nothing in what seemed like a day.
A glare from you is like a stab in the back. Your words cut like glass.
Just too much has changed.
You may have once loved me but this my dear is nothing but hate.
