Constellations

Constellations

A Poem by Dhemila
"

The words of a song of mine

 Constellations

Eternity                           capo 3

Waits for no man

On a shining white horse

Deservedly

I’ve given it some thought

I’m giving them up

I’ll wait and see

With the castle doors up

Whose destiny

Let me make my own

I won’t mess it up

Make me believe

That innocence was found

In the bed of the queen

He who deceives

Will carry it around

To the gate with the keys

Kneel over me

And I will pay you mind

With my reverend heart

Let good things come

To those who play the part

Ecstasy is coming from your lips

The rest of me is swinging at your hips

Holes in your pockets leak pieces of love

I pick them up just to hang them above

They’re called constellations now
