Misery Definitely

Misery Definitely

A Poem by T. N. Hodges
"

A partial work that I am still working on. Mostly with the flow of the last half.

"
Lending locked doors
the days that it takes
Instead of scribbled memoirs
of ebbing thoughts
I wish I could be that free

Wandering hands
clasp on any whim
of spoken interest
I wish I could be that free

Mindless conversation
that pulls on empty hooks
I wish I could be that free

Mysteries of movement
moments held to the chest
Cold spring rivers seem hazy
She's never met a person
or remembered a dream
