Darling

Darling

A Story by DhaVerd

It's late at night,
I can not sleep.
I don't mean to make a sound,
Not a peep.
So as I wait for the leap of day I stay here, still in time telling rhymes.
So my darling know that I truly do love you.
From dusk onto dawn I will not shed a single yawn, for I will not grow tired trying to stay at post for who I admire.
So my darling I hope that you are getting the best of rest.
I sit here at my desk, from my pen I bleed and leave a seed, with the marks will form my words.
So as you wait from the wake of birds, I'll stand at post for the one I care most.

About
I am a nerd, gamer, larper, and a big comic book fan. I love to write especially of my feelings or just a story that I find fascinating. I don't really have much friends, but that doesn't get too down.. more..
