Bring It Back

Bring It Back

A Poem by DhaVerd

Bring it back into me, ignite the life that use to be alive. I'm dead inside- so surprised how long I've survived. I await for you to arrive in my life, I await to once again feel alive. Remind me why to deny the man in disguise- remind me why to deny tonight to be the final goodbye. I wish to feel divine- wish to feel so much delight. Tired of living through demise, in my mind I feel so deprived. Help me leave everything behind. I await for you, my desire- you I require. I'm a lonely writer, in my hand is a pen- words can't mend my heart, please start the fire because I'm too tired. I'm dead inside but only you can ignite the life that was alive.
