NIGHTMARE

Just a dream, please let it be a dream.
Though it seems too real for it to be, I just wish to escape reality.
If this is not a dream then this terror is a nightmare.
Can't help but care, can't help but stare.
With each chill my hair stands still.
Walking over each hill the sights kill.
Until I wake or until I break I'll continue to wish that this isn't my dish.
For this reality truly holds terror.
If a dream it's a nightmare.
I receive stares, they give a daring glare.
Where have I gone? When did things become wrong?
I can't help but I no longer stand so strong.
