PICKING UP THE PIECES

PICKING UP THE PIECES

A Poem by DhaVerd

I’m sorry for anything that I’ve done.

Didn’t mean to do any wrong

This pain is all I gain and I feel as if I’m to blame, or at least that how I feel in my brain.

I do feel ashamed.

Mainly I go on alone with these thoughts in a loud tone.

I groan, wishing I didn’t feel so alone.

Just please pick up that phone and answer me, answer to me and tell me everything is fine.

Be mine once again, mend up my heart; please I don’t want us to apart.

Let’s pick up the pieces
