FRIENDS

FRIENDS

A Poem by DhaVerd

The friends that say they have your back when yet they don't,
Their promises contain such lack.
You hold intact what was had.
Things have truly grown bad.
It's just a fact you'll become a one man wolf pack.
Rather stood beside you'll just be lied to right in your own face.
Burning and hurting it'll fell like mace.
All of grace has truly lost its place.
Leaving you behind in the trace of all your memories.
Don't drive yourself mad,
Not even a tad.
You must stay clad,
You must move on through the pain.
Wash away all that isn't fain.
You don't need to gain all this pain.
Ignore what you lack and stay strong,
You one man wolf pack.
