Among a crowd

When society brings down the walls of your kingdom.

As I walk through this crowd, I feel as if I'm going to drown. I keep my head down to hide my crown. I am no more a king, but my voice will someday ring for all to obey. Though I do pray to be the best, it's a dream that I must put to rest. In my mind I hope to find a place where I belong. A place that I won't feel alone, a place that I can call home. Though back to reality I'm among a crowd, a crowd which does not make me proud.

This reads almost like a poem! Every line was just right and told so much about the character. The way I interpret this, I can feel his will to someday create something great, be the leader he dreams of, so much to say and do but feels suppressed in his current society.
Really well written, I think what you wanted to convey really came out :)
