KNIGHTS OF THE KINGDOM

KNIGHTS OF THE KINGDOM

A Poem by DhaVerd
"

A castle being breached to the battlefield

"
The greatest wall had just taken a heavy fall. With all their cries, you can hear it through the brawl. Some struggle to crawl, and this brawl shall bring death. With their last breath they fight till their end. They lend their loyalty to face the greatest cruelty. Facing fate when it isn't too late. They were so great and never had held hate. But death is death and even through their last breath they pray. Over to the battlefield is where they lay.

"But death is death..." I love this line and it holds so true! Knights are so noble and respected, willing to give their lives in order to honor their kingdom. I love the meaning behind this and the scene that comes to mind :)
