True LoveA Poem by DeyeilInspiration~
Snow White has, oh her Prince Charming,
A smile, a kiss, oh so disarming, But White I'm not, instead, I'm Red, And you're my wolf, yet I'm not dead. What teeth, what eyes, oh what a big heart you have, No ring, no house, so instead that heart I'll halve. Thief, perhaps, not Jasmine, snake charmer, Not Cinderella, no knight, and no shining armor, Not a Beast, but I'll be your Beauty, truly. Not feminine, but I'll be yours, unruly. Once upon a time, with no happy ending, Can you see the truth, the trust that I'm lending. Not Sleeping, no I don't need, your lips on mine, As long as I'm yours, oh yes, I'm fine. Must have bumped my head, cause I've gone down the rabbit hole, I don't need a knight, so be my rock, and help make me whole. Give me your shoulder, cause I don't need your hand, Don't ride into the sunset, take me to Wonderland. Hate, with life, love, with death, You're my last heartbeat, but my first breath, I don't believe, in Fairy Tales, But you're the wind, that fills my sails. I'll believe, in you and me, And with me, oh yes you will see. Fierce as a tiger, tender as a dove, Our pain, our pleasure, oh our True Love. © 2015 Deyeil |
