Its always something

When you say its nothing

 

A baby could be crying

A single mother could be trying

To feed a couple dozen,

And another dozen could be dying

 

But to you its nothing,

And its always something

 

A women could get violated,

And the perpatrator could get away,

And it could happen seven more times,

Just before the sun rises.

 

But to you its nothing,

Even when its something

 

The world could be crashing,

And the sky could be falling,

And the land be burning

All before the dawn dies,

 

But to you its nothing,

Especially when its something

Interesting perspective on people that choose to ignore the obvious things in life that "should be important to them", but instead it is not.
