Possibly Dead

Possibly Dead

A Poem by devooe

Possibly Dead
Falling from the last cloud
Reality spinning, air is loud
Air brushes my skin, hair flying
Thinking about the fact, that I'm
Possibly Dying

Adrenaline moving
The clothes on my back, I'm loosing
Wind is loud against my ears
Is this a a dream that could just-
Possibly Disappear?

Im slowing down, eyes now open
This can't be the end, my thoughts, outspoken
Still, face down, falling, and falling
People below watching, asking if I'm
Possibly Bawling

Here I come, life or death
I take in my last breath
As my body hits the surface,
Life is still, silent, I'm feeling
Possibly Worthless

Been in hell his whole life, but this is heaven
Seems his life was too short, just twenty-seven
Within' one jump, he met his death-bed
Scary to think that he's
Possibly Dead

I think the premise is good but it seems your rhyming effort undermines the actual story. I have a harder time enjoying poems that rhyme this way because I believe the form should be secondary to the message. I do like the eery tone you portrayed, it was very fitting for this subject matter.
