Be

Be

A Poem by Devinked7115

I’d rather be the arms you’s wake up to -
Like the breath that sustains you...
Than just a name in a paper,
A face in the crowd, a front.

I’d rather be the lips you’d kiss goodnight,
Your photograph of an unbelievable sight!
Than just your fetered partner,
In a world of bygones.

Beautiful thoughts expressed eloquently. You have an unnecessary apostrophe and s in "you" in the first line. But that was the only flaw I could find here. I enjoyed the read.
