SeleneA Poem by Devinked7115When the goddess of the moon, falls in love with a mortal, who is punished to live for eternity in a sleep.
There goes Selene,
Rushing in the middle of the night - She's riding with the moon, And soft windblown veil... There goes Selene, Burning in her lover's sleep... Such a fan of madness and desire! He looked so beautiful, That the sky fell with the moon incarnate - She obsessed to glimpse upon his face. He's captured like a photograph, With a longing to every inch of his skin. She's drawn to the silence he possesses - And in a heartbeat - 50 memories of love is but a dream, To a cycle of darkness embracing her life - Seems like a tragedy, unless - He opens his eyes! © 2017 Devinked7115 |
