The Fire

The Fire

A Poem by DevilnAngel616

The heart engulfed by flames,
Uncontrolably burning,
By a raging fire,
Unable to be doused,
No pain is felt,
As the fire rages on,
Unknown and unseen,
By the eye of the beholder,
Or the other side,
Where did it come from,
No one knows, Not even the two,
That had started the blaze,
Out bursts of cries, silently heard,
And falls on deaf ears,
So much has changed by a single spark,
Eating up the very thing that feeds the fire,
Franticly trying to find the answers,
That doesn't exist,
Leaving blank minds,
And a heart emersed by flames.

This to me feels a lot like a love poem. I don't know if that is what you meant it to be. But... it reminds me of the way love can go wrong and completely catch a person off guard.
