Before Armegeddon Strikes (Flash Fiction)

Before Armegeddon Strikes (Flash Fiction)

A Story by Daniel Rodriguez
"

Im working on a tokusatsu style series of scripts. This is just a teaser.

"

I hide amongst them. I see them come and go, aimlessly wandering. They have their lives to gget to, partners to try and mate with, or wallowiing that they have none. They let non physical numbers control them. They dedicate the majority of their lives for no real goal or purpose.

These humans were already cattle when we first made contact with them. How are we doing the wrong thing? We give them a reason to exist. We make them contribute to science and to our species.

I stand here, looking pathetic, they do not notice, and those wo do turn in disgust. I see a man walk by. We make eye contact, he tells me to get a job; I pleasingly imagine what he will look like when he is strapped down on our latest machine. It would be so easy to drag him to our facilities and no one would notice.

So I sit here, among the humans, in this floating colony of theirs going nowhere. We begin the next phase of our infiltration at the simulated sundown.
