Vile

A short poem my head has been spinning all day.

Creek is the sound
The board beneath me betrays
The hunger playfully swells
I look to satisfaction
Noise
My prey loves to make noises
Hide in silence
They try
They fail
Their breathing is like a child's giggle
I take all life.

Author's Note

The monster in that scary thing that gives you nightmares, wanted to go into detail, but the potential epic ness of such a blunt swear on the world felt an appropriate finale.
