repeat- repeat- ignore- ignore-A Poem by Melody P-sharp and fierce and double bladed
words that wound and leave me jaded
so remember that I'm cut both ways
yet slowly I bleed to extend these days
and yes I await your chivalry
please pardon my debauchery
and my dear God I count the times
the words I'd spout a midst the rhymes
those and these they are the truth
remember the first and of it's youth
if I could go back in that time of when
I'd spout those words again and again
and then that would be all that took place
until that time we did embrace
but sweet the syrup that drowns the pain
and spoken are the words I speak in vain
please understand the misunderstood
and always know if I could I would
it is not just an act of infatuation
not just a moment of sweet elation
your not timid your a f*****g coward
I laugh but it hurts the already devoured
I didn't know such an optimist
could turn so quick to a pessimist
but I guess in a way we're a lil bit of both
and I'll write that in blood and take an oath
so where's the core logic within your own philosophy
found in the ruins of your own debris
sip ambrosia all alone
you are the first that cast the stone
and a midst the two each side our own
and both our ways we'll etch in stone
so again I say what awaits you
it's been so long I would subdue
but a taste so sweet it would be bitter
with a glisten and a shine and a sweet liqueur
and I laugh when I utter those simple words
simply written in major thirds
with a tune so sly it haunts my dreams
with words the soul escapes the screams
let go it's done the stars they fall
empirical times built the wall
it's broken down so take a step through
then look to the skies that shine so true
but already your blinded and I stand right here
but in the black I disappear
f**k it I've said these words before
