smile* in requiem-

smile* in requiem-

A Poem by Melody P-

to ask or to tell, wait but belong
a fallacy to right, to right to be to wrong

whys and wherefores'
by battle and by wars

by heartbroken reason I feel I feel no more-

in requiem it's gone it's dead
and from that and then instead

I spoke to you and you spoke back
moonlit-  skies of black

time is the essence of dreams in due time
two pennies for a nickle two more for a dime

splinter the reason and then subside
walk within the steps you stride

and tell me then the ever more
show me now what you ignore

show me then but then again
and even then the from within

smile okay-the one concern
but holy s**t* make it burn-

make it worth all the ache
let the broken be the break

savage heart breathe in- cascade
cease the release in this crusade

begin anew and until then
we'll wait and then we'll wait again

smile okay- radiance familiar
that time in which I do refer

that time that comes in the days that pass
walk among the shards of glass

then speak volumes and wonder why
with spoken words that paint the sky

that same sky that feeds you through
that clears the path that you pursue

think again- think hard and smile-
that's what makes it all worthwhile

sweet the poison that runs your blood
the blood that bleeds the endless flood

with a pulse that beats by heart to beat
in rhythm to pound that poison sweet

what I bear I bear no longer
and even then it's made me stronger

do what you will and let it be
the skies will cry and the stars will plea

they'll rain your tears on heavenly ground
that poison sweet that beats that pound

hear the heart and remember me
moonlit black- just let it be

About
Like many, I've found writing to be quite overwhelming... at times the all consuming and in every aspect of emotion a great release. Evans Blue - Cold (But I'm Still Here)Add to My P.. more..
