be well my muse-

be well my muse-

A Poem by Melody P-

spark that urge that inspiration
mark that rush that destination
sing.. breathe..release..overwhelming
scream the songs that make you sing

make them crawl on hands and feet
to hear the sound that pounds that beat
reach right in.. rip out their heart
just like you did.. right from the start

you do you know..and you know it well
just do what you do and time will tell
and bless the path.. unique..divine
take it times three and then combine

and when you do..remember when
over and over..again and again
because... that's how it goes and then again
twist and twirl.. bend and spin

reach that point of no return
feel the need of no concern
it's yours you've earned it..don't delay
only yourself you would betray

and the essence of the urge that you inspire
brings upon the most ultimate desire
those words, that sound, that complete masterpiece
let go..it's yours..release..increase..

be well..my muse..that wicked desire
and then sleep well when you retire
remember me you said you would
w/circumstances..understood

mel, the Passion is really breathtaking, thats how i would have to escribe it,
"be well my muse" a brilliant concept, the meaning is described as a telling,
from two perspectives, first the muse, then the writer, i really liked how the
beginning captures the captivating force of music, the soul's song, conspired
as a design of entrancement, there is a sense of control over your words,
love the rhyme form, the second half shows how the muse possesses the writer,
with its lust for expression, etablishing itself as the divine force
of thought, that which controls the pen, a phenomonal rendering, mike

oh we do love our muses....even though they can be such fickle things can't they? I loved this piece...you breathe such life and personality into your muse here....and we are, after all, at their mercy aren't we? great flow and rhyming pattern here as well....wonderfully done.
