Someday

Someday we’ll be far away from each other,
Probably might be a few years since we last saw one another.
We maybe might not speak as much,
Probably have fallen out of touch.

I will always remember all the things that we’ve been through,
Never will I forget all the time I spent with you.
What we had will always be special to me,
Even if to you it didn’t matter even slightly.

Just like the lover’s cycle we might be strangers again,
Until life makes us cross paths and remember an old friend.
Maybe we’ll both be different because we both changed,
It might not be the same, it might be a little strange.

But I will never replace your place in my heart,
Even if we fight or grow apart.
It doesn’t matter what happens along the way, it’s true,
As long as you’re alive, I swear I’ll still love you.
