Journey to Peace

Oh life full of woes,
I travel for so long
But time never slows
While this soul just moves along,
Stuck in vessels of desires
Trying to break through
In search of you...

But I am so tired oh endless lord
The one who bewilders the mind,
The path to you is filled with thorns
Will you not be kind
And walk with me
Till only bliss awaits once this suffering dies in the sea...

Oh world of illusion,
I am burning in this fire of agony
Falling weak from the heat of reality
As this mind consumes this heart,
Suffocating me till i can no longer breathe
Trying to keep me apart
From you who will always be
My shelter of peace...

But I am withering dry oh lord of nature
Thief of butter,
Will you not steal me some rain
From the crying clouds
Who hide away in vain
So I can blossom again like the lotus at your feet
